Enzymes: For Crystal Clear Water
I am a big fan on using enzymes in pools. They will keep the water crystal clear and prolong the life of filter cartridges.
Suntan lotions, body oils, sunscreens, and eucalyptus leaves can clog cartridge filters without the use of enzymes. It breaks them down, thus preventing build up inside the pleats of cartridges.
Enzymes can also help keep the Ducks out of the pool. Ducks can be a problem for pools. They leave a mess on the deck and also in the pool.
Once they find a pool they like, they will keep coming back. Ducks don’t like the feel they the get when they come in contact with the enzymes.
Enzymes has some effect on the feathers that bothers them. So for the cost of using enzymes, it can pay for itself after 1 big swim party, a few Ducks in the water, or a problem with eucalyptus leaves.
